>Browsing /toy/ one day and they're talking about a newly released figma
>It's Hibiki
>They're gushing over the figure, mostly for it's ass tech
>Buy it without having watched the show cause I was getting into figmas at the time and because I'm an ass man
>Download the first season and watch it while it's in the mail
>Fall in love with the show, think it's great
>Find out they're making a second season and get hyped for it
>Figma arrives and it slowly becomes one of my favorite figs in the collection
>Watch G and every subsequent season with anons on /a/ and /m/, learn how to watch restreams of Japanese TV just to watch the show live
>Played the shit out of XDU despite not knowing any japanese just because I wanted to collect Geahs
>Hibiki is easily my favorite character through the series even with all the bumps in characterization she got in GX onward
>Hibiki is mai waifu, she's the only character I've bought merch for to a great extent (I bought the Geah scales and Act-Modes for all the geahs but Hibiki's the only one I've gone out of the way to get the CDs, plushes, concert shirts, doujinshi, and other merch for)
>Still have that original Hibiki figma at the center of it all despite her horns getting broken from one fall too many
No matter how bad a day is, as long as Hibiki is there everything will be Heiki Hecchara.
