Boomers only think they got given nothing
The previous generation gave them everything without making a fuss about it

Given to them by an older man who knew that the younger folk need to get on the ladder

given to them by older relatives even though it was just fine, the younger folk need it more than they do

Given to them for cheap via a housing construction boom created by the previous generation knowing that people need houses
The previous generation fought in two brutal wars, when they got home, they had absolutely no interest in giving their children a hard time, they spoiled them so much and never bothered to let them know how easy of a time they gave them, so much so that the boomers didn't even realize they were given everything, they just took it for granted.
As far as they were concerned, they did it all themselves, and it was easy.
