There is none, his sword damage is pathetic even when ramped up and takes too long to ramp up.
His anti heal is good but that's not worth a fucking pick when it's not game winning unless you're in perfect sync with your team and even then you still can't breach through a lot of ults.
You can have a full stacked sword and hit a healer for 3 seconds straight while they have reduced healing and they will still won't die, worse yet if you do it on a tank they will NEVER die and a lot of DPS will just two shot you because the life steal is pathetic.

He needs sustained damage while having greatly reduced healing so he CANNOT stay there long enough to actually do damage and kill, yet he has NO FUCKING SURVIVABILITY AT ALL.
Wolverine has two fucking lives and a damage reduction yet he only wants to be in the action for short bursts to look for an opportunity, Blade has to GO IN HARD to even begin stacking up and his pathetic fucking parry is small as hell and prevents him from doing anything, in fact when you recharge the dash you STILL have to fucking look back and expose yourself making the parry feel like shit to retreat very often.
He takes too much work and most importantly, he needs a good healer and tank to both heal you and take some flack off you so you can actually go ham and WHEN YOU DO GO HAM YOU STILL DO NO FUCKING DAMAGE AND YOU'RE PERPETUALLY LIVING ON THE EDGE.
If you focus on the shotgun only you're straight up a horrible character.
Between all this and his dogshit design they really nuked 3 seasons of build up and hype for the character in less than a week.

I stopped seeing Blade instalockers around now so being one of the few left/Lords, let me try.

First, his 2-tap shotgun at 8m-12m range. Undisputed best DPS if he is actually allowed to stay at that range or sneak up on someone. Everything about his game plan/win cond is just to stay there and win at that range. Even his max stacks Awakening DPS IS LESS than his shotgun spam.

Second Anti-heal 40% for 3.5s, you need to spam this on the right target and farm CD reduction with block. Tank CDs like bubbles & blue health actually counters Anti-heal so it's reserved until needed.

Third, his sword at zero buffs is useless (Change your binds so you either go into Awakening or Gun). You need to land your Sword Dash to get 5 stacks to reach parity. At max buff is the best melee DPS (x2 attack & movespeed is very extreme) but you can't get healed pratically with it and lifesteal is just enough for 1v1. There are some use cases for this but its mostly defensive / enemy is at disadvantage and you just push in.
Also, his sword dash is good for anti-peel and knocks back/down flyers, you might as well do anti-dive duty sticking around your backlines while waiting for your chance to dive or ult.

As for Wolverine. What do you mean a pocket healer, he literally has anti-synergy with a healer on him. He shouldn't take attention and damage in Awakening or he burns up healer resoureces for nothing. The times I pop off (without gun) is when someone else is also threatening like with an ult or a tank/bubble on me.

He has 2 dashes or (3 if you know the Silver-bullet cancel) to put him into the Max stack melee monster state that can absolutely demolish the person he lands it on if he can sneak it in but the only issue is to get it there. I think everyone is trying to brawl with him like a tank instead of a melee diver like Magik/BP to get in/out. Not even Wolverine can stay for long eating fire.

He's closer to a Magik where he has to wait for all his resources to make a big-plays but he is slightly better because his Shotgun spam's actually threatening as well so he's not useless while waiting.

I would say that roughly how my matches goes is like 30% dive vs 70% Shotgun + Silverbullet spam. Silver bullet's really being slept on because noobs use it on tanks that can shield if they have CDs and Blades keep intiating with it instead of syncing with their team's DPS when they ult or going into offense mode like Ironman with Overdrive.

Their defensive options is 2xIframes vs -80% damage reduction block. Magik has the bonus of being able to get heals/pocket but you don't get that luxury all the time when you diving.

The roadblock on Blade is that most people charge in with zero stacks and die with Blade because he has the worst melee DPS at zero stacks and the best at 10 stacks aka literally a 200% DPS increase. You got 2 dashes to build it and that's it, don't miss his dashes like Magik can't miss her Charges or you fail your offense and have to try again.

That's way too feast & famine of a design and they won't change it while you have the Shotgun spam doing so much damage.

She is not known for being a "sniper" as her defining aspect. When people think of Marvel sniper characters, they do not think of Black Widow. Black Widow is a sniper because china looked at Widowmaker from Overwatch, that's it.

Black Widow is known for being a super-spy, martial artist, acrobat/dancer, using all manner of guns and melee weapons like batons.
Trying to make a long ranged sniper also have melee weapons and melee ranged skills, wanting the player to go from ranged sniping ot melee is incredibly retarded.

Black Widow should've either been a flanker along the lines of Psylocke or a mid-to-close range hero that constantly wants to jump back and forth between ranged and melee, with each having synergy (like shooting someone marks them (for assassination), then you jump in to deal melee damage with marked targets taking extra damage).

Instead what we got was by far the worst designed kit in the entire game.

Telekinesis and telepathy would not work in game. Bucky, Punisher, Bullseye, Taskmaster, etc. have all used snipers but none of them are defined by it, just like Black Widow.

Hela does more dmg/s with bodyshots and headshots. He has a ranged stun. Hela has a rapid fire explosive projectile. Hela triggers damage when enemies are killed. Hela has a good ult that creates a lot of pressure, unlike Widow's.

Everybody plays Jeff wrong and it's fundamentally his ult. You're supposed to scoop up your own team and reposition them because they're too fucking stupid to stay in place. Frontline healers? Jeff ult and throw them in the back. Magneto lagging behind? Jeff ult and throw him into the fight. Afk thrower in your lobby? Feed him to the enemy team. He's an anti-bad team tech character nobody fucking seems to understand this and say his ult sucks and he sucks
