Texas A&M has been found guilty of faking an injury in their game against Arkansas. The fine of $50,000 is insignificant but if found faking an injury again, the fine increases to $100,000 (still insignificant) and a one game suspension for the head coach.
Texas A&M denies it did anything wrong but will abide by the decision because they really have no choice. The ruling was made jointly by the SEC and the NCAA, after a review by officials from both entities.
