I have this theory that makai as a whole is ruled by something I like to call "hermit crab-cracy" .there's several very well crafted and very big castles that lose their masters all the time due to demons beings demons, so once in a while a new self proclaimed demon lord will just move into one of those, and once he or she is there then it's time to sound the drums for any and all demon girls of fighting age. And the deal isn't bad either, 3 meals, a nice clean uniform, a roof and a ned, and who knows maybe there's a head maid tiara in your future girl!
