At a minimum according to what standard, technically you don't need a government, we could just abolish the government and go back warring tribes. Or you could keep it to the minimum which libertarians believe it should be kept it which is the minimum to enforce individual rights, property rights, a defensive military, and NAP. The minimum the government should be kept to enforce that is not the minimum it needs to be to enforce social order, to stop trannies and fags from proliferating and spreading degeneracy, to stop jews from subverting your country, to stop mega-corps from forming.

Economists and data scientists have proven beyond reasonable doubt that societial wealth can be increased via certain government laws and regulations, examples:

>Seatbelt laws reduce accident expense, insurance expense, and health expenses associated with car crashes
>Helmet and life jacket laws reduce search and rescue costs and medical related costs
>Luxury goods taxes can discourage spending and encourage investment, and also raises revenue for the government that can be put towards long term projects
>Taxed on cigarettes, alcohol, gambling, and prositution not only discourage the social vices but raise revenue in a way that doesn’t disincentive economically productive behavior
>Krugman proved public infrastructure projects can yield a positive ROI for society.

This is why the Democratic Party is the best. We recognize the good of capitalism while also understanding ways government can thrust through more economic progress
