Answer the question, reeetard: what makes it good?

The wide popularity of this series detracts me from ever wanting to play it. I tried some short lived gachaslop years ago called aster tatariqus that had a similar mechanic of doing chores throughout your day and it was fucking boring. That seems to be the main thing people gush over when they talk about this series asides from the turn-based jarpig combat and music.
