>Walmart
Has huge networks of distribution in the USA which is a country that has a shit ton of infrastructure in place that allows that to happen.

You cannot replicate that in areas with extremely rough terrain, areas without pavement, areas without electricity/water/internet, warzones, etc.

Logistics in a comfy city with comfy infrastructure doesn't work anywhere else. Even in the USA if there was a major tragedy like a huge earthquake or a tsunami the distribution capabilities of Walmart would be hit hard and they would be unable to continue until infrastructure was repaired.

That's the issue with you first world idiots: you take far too much for granted. Does the USA waste enough food to feed the entire planet? In theory yes, but there isn't a realistic way to distribute that food to the people in need. People in Africa don't starve because they want to, they starve because they lack all major infrastructure to make modern food production and distribution possible. They're still working with bronze-age tooling in harsh environments without the necessary infrastructure to make it possible.
>Amazon and facebook are micro-targeting personal advertisements to you. We absolutely can anticipate people's needs
No they aren't lmao. Online ad campaigns are a huge scam. Advertisers are scamming everyone.

Not that it matters. Being able to create a profile for a 25-year old male that likes anime and punk rock is completely useless when talking about education or actual physical needs. There is a reason marketing only sells crap instead of real solutions.
