The Tectonic Knight is a mysterious hero who fights with the power of the earth, his mighty fists, and THE LORD (halleleiujah!). His true identity is unknown, but he is attested to sparsely since the middle ages as a figure who appears battle evil, so he's either extremely long lived or the Tectonic Knight mantle has been passed down.

In the modern day he's started taking a more active role in promoting the TRUE FAITH in a jolly Veggietales youth outreach sort of way. He finds himself at odds with the increasingly aggresive proselytyzing of the Machine Cult.

Meta wise, I felt like the /cco/verse was lacking high end powerhouses. I wanted a mysterious, almost mythical champion of justice. I had a previous vague concept of a knight who fights with gauntlets, the source of some magical gear Awesome Man would acquire during a planned RPG themed crossover that fell through. And then while playing some online game I ran into a DEUS VULT larper and misread his name (Teutonic Knight) as Tectonic Knight and thought, damn, that's good. So when I realized I read it wrong I was pleased to be free to use the concept.
