>Cities
You'd play as an Alchemite Warforger who can buff your team's armor and weapons. This is a good way of introducing non-basic Cities units.
>DoK
A gladiatrix. Fast, agile, and maybe you can unlock some special snake power-up that lasts a few seconds when the going-gets-tough
>Fyreslayers
A doomseeker, someone with powerful but slow attacks. Meant to be great at boss fights but too sluggish for hordes. Not a complete pushover, but he should be emphasized for the big moments.
>Idoneth
Ikon of the Sea, a horde specialist who has good AoE attacks but lacks the full capability to dominate bosses, basically a doomseeker's foil
>Kharadron Overlords
Obviously an Arkanaut Admiral. Meant to contrast with the Doomseeker's relative humility by being a very techy tank who's clearly much more mercenary. Probably with some sort of skill that lets him find hidden items better.
>Lumineth
A loreseeker, obviously. A wizard guy who's not a pushover but should certainly be using his magic
>Seraphon
A kroxigor who's carrying a skink on his shoulder who whispers instructions in his ear. He's just a tank, but the skink is there to be kinda cute and make the game more marketable.
>Stormcasts
A knight quester, obviously, their entire thing is wandering around and helping people.
>Sylvaneth
Since it's a pretty elitist army I'm thinking of just having a gossamid archer. Since their actual leader units are massive. It'd also mirror the wood elf from Skaventide; fast, ranged, and good at getting in tough places.

I'll continue with death and destruction allies.
