Do you not know of the thread canon involving Solomon or just choose not to follow that?

Likely, just depends on which sin the Overlord in question fall under, some would involve themselves in the smuggling whilst other would go against it, due to not wanting to loose power or access to souls and most would know to not go against a Sin so they could find alternatives if they don't know any.
