Why don't all phones have a notification light? Always On Displays use too much battery. I'm reading suggestions like "just check your phone every 15 minutes" like that's not fucking retarded. I can't find a solution to this stupid problem.

I need a light that blinks periodically to indicate I need to check my phone. Is that too much to ask, ffs.
