one thing I like about the alien movies is that people are smoking everywhere. which was normal in the 70s. but most space movies avoid showing that at all. even this new show opens with the crew smoking like in the original, something rare in 2025, but they stayed true to the original.

the good thing is they cured all cancers, so you can smoke without worrying about that in their timeline.
