OLED tech is extremely well understood. No rumers required. QDOLED cannot display true blacks like WOLED due to the lack of a polarizer. Any ambient light, even light from the display itself, washes out very dark content due to light bleeding back into the panel (unlike WOLED which has extreme detail and clarity in dark scenes).
For whatever reason many reviewers seem to prefer QDOLED because it gets 5% brighter and supports colorspaces that no game or movie supports (perhaps the mindset of future proofing) despite its inability to retain detail in dark content and display true black. Between that and color fringing it seems like a no brainer to go WOLED.
If you plan on buying a TV to game on then there is no comparison. No QDOLED panels support Dolby Vision or DTS channel audio passthrough above 2.1 (80% of all current and past media uses this for audio) so WOLED is genuinely the only rational choice for a TV unless all you do is stream Netflix.
