nope. it's with no electric contact. parts still move, else you wouldn't be able to press the switch down.
I'll get a HE keyb next, but there's one downside, you can't have tactile switches since you don't really have control over the range of the press. once the bump gives it goes down. so you cannot really use the whole travel for analog purposes.
but other than the tactile issue, it's clearly the superior option, at least for me. ideally it would support both classical and magnetic switches. which seems to be possible with tmr sensors
