Difference is that Rust automates it for you without the need of a Garbage Collector. With C, it's opt-in and a lot of developers forget it due to human error.
Not a hard concept.

Every plant and fungi that synthesizes ascorbic acid does so from a simple sugar. The only thing Fungi do differently from plants is that they break down material into simple sugars instead of photosynthesis. There is functionally zero difference in the resulting vitamin C. Do you really believe one type of ascorbic acid made under factory conditions keeps the mold in it afterwards? And this mold is distributed to every product that uses factory made vitamin C, without having to include the mold in the labelling? Despite the fact that if this were true, every product that had the mold would be... gee, I dunno, moldy???

I'm trying to figure out why what you said is a bad thing for reasons beyond the immediate negative connotations of mold. Like, it's just weird to complain about mold being part of the process for vitamin C in bread when any decent bread uses yeast (fungi that is a close relative to mold). Not to mention alcohol being a direct result of yeast's enzyme process which again, IS NOT DIFFERENT THAN VITAMIN C SYNTHESIS
