same. When I first played atelier I savescummed so much, by the time I finished the game I could have easily finished it twice with NewGame+ and gotten much more out of it.
It's so stupid, I spend an hour thinking and planning to do things optimally, when I just could have played by feel and maybe have to grind for half an hour.
