I played an ARAM today and saw that and thought instantly 100% "Riot only added this so Morde can actually get something out of ulting carries haha".

since you know....Death Realm is a stat-steal ability.... its pretty good if you use it on mages and tanks and manage to kill them somehow because then you go super sayain but its pretty bad to use it on high AD champs. rather than just up the stat-steal of D-realm or add more generic power into Mordes kit this buff is like a consolation prize of sorts. (hey, you flashed and ulted the Jhin? uh...okay... your Q is slightly better now. stop bothering your grandpa).
