I really like this, thanks! Her face and the little hearts and blushing really sell it. Also, the guy looks like the nerdy classmate friend type of guy that a girl like this would crush on. The guy she probably talks about nerd shit with and is really good friends with but she'd never actually make a move since she has low self-esteem (headcanon, at least). Also, I think it's pathetic, but in a cute way, for a character to be so turned on just by the concept of general kindness from another person. It feels both genuine and a special kind of losery desperation. It reminds me a bit of this comic panel.

It's good, though I wouldn't complain if you took more time with it at some point in the future. Traveling can be a pain, so I can imagine it's not the ideal drawing circumstances. Still, good work!

A lot of them, especially if you're even somewhat nice to them in a consistent way about it. I made at least a few female friends and got one-on-one time with by talking about cartoons with and being open to their suggestions.
