>issues with lust and wrath
you need to know your identity in Christ, as well as the authority we have been given through Christ.
> Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Matthew 10:8
this shows the authority God has given us over every evil thing on earth, including any temptations and demons that bring sinful desires.
you must know that every single sin is a choice once you are free in Christ, and every sin crucifies Jesus again, and puts Him to shame.
> if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. Hebrews 6:6
> Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
God gives us the power and ability to say no to the devil, no temptation is too much that God will not give you the ability to escape. the more you say no to sin and satan, the easier it will get, you just have to start breaking sin habits once you decide you love Lord Jesus more than your sin.
as quoted previously, one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is self control, so pray that as long as the Spirit is within you, you will be able to exercise this fruit and be able to control yourself and your actions. continually pray and repent to the Lord, have faith that He will bring you out of whatever you are in, and cover yourself in the Blood of Jesus that you may serve Him well. Lord Jesus bless you OP!
