Rex is pretty good and gets better after you get the upgrade attack back
Xelgard is decent and comes with Dogmas which are very usable
Masaki has Cyflash and that only gets better, and is generally still very nimble and quick
V's protags are usable early game and okay later
Base Tyranado is the only one that feels like it's picking up dust with the ReGZ and Methus
