If you don't want to murder. I would assert that not murdering isn't your moral, it's just your wants. But I would guess you would want to impose your belief in murdering as wrong on everybody, since some people actually want to murder.
Or maybe you sometimes actually want to murder someone, but don't, because for you it's wrong.
But, we do live in a society with laws and enforcement of said laws. But, if we go the route of atheism, those laws can suddenly be changed to anything. By democratic vote, or by dictatorship, or by a conglomerate of rich people. Murdering I suspect, will be much like in communist Russia. All evil is done for the greater good.
Raping, torturing moral opponents is justified.
Have that happened with the Bible as justificatin? Yes, but it's heretical to it's teaching. That's the human in us. Full of sin. But, when we have moral relativism, as communists did, the killings, rape torture suddenly become 100x worse, because it's justified in something relative and you can't say it's heretical.
Materialism are not enough.
Look at how drug use and sodomy is tearing apart the fabric of western society. Sitting at home doing drugs don't hurt anyone. Why shouldn't people abe able to do it? Lolbertainians say it's fine. But end result? Society falls. I was lucky to experience a strict society with taboos. Now that allmost all taboos are gone (only one left being kiddy diddling) , it's clear for. God is real, and doing the things prescribed by him is the way. Because of relative moralism we now drown in hedonism. Hedonism, then nihilism are the end stage, before people once again understand God. And find him, because they felt the world in witch humans denyed our creator.
