Buttons with pic rel on.
Gesture controls have that line at the bottom which you can only make shorter but not turn off completely.
I like to hide the navigation bar when I'm scrolling through my 4chan app for example and get that much more space on my relatively small S23.

My friend got a used S10 in pretty good condition. We were comparing phones and I knew it still had a headphone jack and expandable storage and I was reminded it has a higher res display. I'm fine with 1080p on my device but then I saw that the S10 has an option to decrease the resolution down to 1080p and 720p while my device is locked to 1080p. I found out that this feature only still exists on ultra and some plus models but not on the base Galaxy S phones.
Now I wish I had gotten a Note 9 or some S10 device in 2019 or 2020, instead I got memed into buying the OnePlus 7 Pro which became horrible after a few years. If I had gotten a Galaxy device from that generation I would probably still be using it. I even liked the OneUI version prior to 7 way more.
