Fair point, it's probably not necessary to program DEs that way.
I'm kind of pissed that there is no distro with motif as theme which works OOTB.
Let that sink in, if you can. Like, how do they expect there to be programs on X, when no distro comes with the graphics for the framework to write apps for X for?
