It does matter because trannies are too stupid to just say "yeah don't kill conservative Christian people, don't kill anyone, this person is completely unjustified and mentally ill and we disavow them" just like they've been too stupid to do that for the last 10 years everytime a trans person does something bad.
No other group has fallen for the "concession actually means you lose" psyop more than trannies. And even after 10 years of taking the biggest Ls imaginable they will still defend people they don't even agree with, or try to deflect, or try to say "yes but here's what YOU did wrong", instead of just expressing their earnest feelings which is that this person was bad and what they did was wrong and unjustified.
