I think my primary issue with going from Route A to B is that if you were trying to be a completionist with side quests it was too easy to burn out from those alone, which was my issue with it. Also besides the hacking 9S isn't much different combat wise.

I didn't mind the combat being too easy because it still felt nice to do, smoothly dodging attacks and combining the ranged and melee attacks was satisfying.
My main issue with the combat side of things is that you get the most interesting skill chip (wire) way too late in the game.

I do hope that if he is working on another game then it's a completely different character set/space to Nier, if not another world entirely.
As much as I like 2B and want her to sit on my face and self destruct, that story is pretty much done.
