Quarterhorse racing is somewhat common in the US and Mexico. Quarterhorse horses are the most common horse in the US and are basically the cowboy horse used in rodeo or anything else really. But they were originally developed for Sprints and are still used for them in some tracks. Mexicans especially love Quarterhorse Sprint racing and part of the reason why they have spill over into racing you anons are watching.
