Getting everything you'd want is like winning a lottery. Green skills, SSR skill hint chains actually freaking finishing, S turf/S distance, other relevant sparks triggering (URA Finale etc.). And in the once in a blue moon run when you get all this good stuff rest RNG screws you over or it takes forever to get friendship levels up or the game refuses to give you rainbow trainings etc.

Kinda hard to compare something to a video game. The track the girls are running in this game is more akin to someting in a coss-country running, since athletics track is completely flat. I've only done competitive running very little in my life but longer distance races are somewhat similar to this game, since the athletes run together in a group, can get boxed etc. In shorter and medium distances they each run on their own lane and there shouldn't be any interference.

The issue is that you're making umas for either TT which has a wide amount of tracks and conditions, or a highly specialized one for champion's meeting or even legend races, which has settings you already know of.

For TT, your medium runners are going to benefit from standard distance (>70% of medium races are that).

However some greens will only help you during career, and then there's the ones that will help you outside of it. Lone Wolf procs frequently but in 3v3s there's ideally always 1 per team.
Inner/Outer Post & Lucky Seven don't do shit when there's 18 Umas, and the "STRATEGY" savvy won't help if you get a very late start and there's 17 niggers blocking your way, but it'll be great for PvP because you go from 18 racer wankfests to 9 racers. It supposedly gets better when they tweak guts, mobility skills then have everyone spreading out late race.

Career-wise, distance specific skills are better than strategy specific ones because you'll be able to use them regardless of strategy, and those are better than generic ones (ie. "straightaway acceleration") as those will be way more expensive.

However, all of this doesn't matter if your stats are good and can clear with 0 skills.

Race specialization (fast twitch muscles vs endurance gods) is similar, but most uma are lacking muscular definition and height. Team trials and point system are similar to how track team competitions work. Some workouts wouldn't be done regularly by a track team member, like swimming. Quarterhorse racing is somewhat common in the US and Mexico. Quarterhorse horses are the most common horse in the US and are basically the cowboy horse used in rodeo or anything else really. But they were originally developed for Sprints and are still used for them in some tracks. Mexicans especially love Quarterhorse Sprint racing and part of the reason why they have spill over into racing you anons are watching.

This is because kitasan has power bonus, so the speed->power crosstraining is way better than power->stamina crosstraining. The fact that kitasan feeds you assloads of free power is another factor for power cards being weak for longer distances. If you really need power at those distances it's still better to use power sparks + kitasan and rely on stam rainbows, compared to stam sparks + power cards.
