So the play for a game like this (Japunese, stingy, spark banners) is actually to play as little as possible and collect all the free gibs from logging in and daily races for about 6-9 months. You really shouldn't care about a lot of this because sparks and support sharing gets buffed a lot the longer the game is out. If you are trying to get anything close to many of the umas you see on this site without paying or doing a lot of meta rerolls it's just not going to happen very often if at all. Take it slow and play the long game.

You win by logging in for a year when other quit after a few months. Eventually you catch up and will have lots of selection from rolling banners. But until then any attempt to speed yourself up is really a self-brick.

The Turbo race episode was especially great. From the setup at the start with Rudolf watching Turbo's Tanabata Sho to Turbo getting rejected by her rival (hero) to Canopus obviously planning something to the screen blacking out and revealing Turbo with a massive lead to Kaichou catching on and lying for Canopus to Ikuno's "IKE, TAABO" to Turbo's desperate wheezing sounds to Turbo making the final corner as the song's chorus hits to Teio being literally speechless to Turbo telling Teio not to give up to Teio dogeza-ing to Turbo at the end.
I don't even like Rice or Teio or Turbo but S2 got me crying like a bitch for them.
