Maruzenzky ults, Queen/Rudolph meet their condition, if you have an opponent in your back and one on the front while both are active you trigger Biwa then basically rocket out of the pack into a lead position.

Biwa skill is very inconsistent but fuck if it isn't absurdly strong given that it is a 1.35 speed/acceleration multiplier for 5 seconds at base.

Do pace chasers have a mechanic where if they are not literally #1 they will burn stamina constantly to try and become #1 again?

Do front runners have the ability to enter Pace Down mode where they conserve stamina and only consume 60% of it any time they're comfortable with their position already?

Oh, the answer to both of these questions is "No", and this has a far more significant impact than the single digit increase in stamina burn that Pace Chasers formula has vs the Front Runner formula?

I have made less than 1000 carats this week, not even 2/3 of a multi roll which you need 20 of for any given banner.

if you don't do the 5 dates, you don't get the skills and get less extra stats after URA
and for the second point, she still has all the effects except giving you the post URA stats since she's not supposed to be there, it's to prevent you from using her, Tazuna and the future ones outside their scenarios and not doing 6 friend card decks or something like that

The front runner AI is "always be #1 and when you aren't drain stamina faster to become #1" and the pace chaser AI is "try to be X distance from the front runner, and if you're already there feel free to reduce your stamina consumption to save it for the final burst".

Thanks, if it really is just the skill hint levels I think people exagerate how much the skill link matters. Honestly I think I'd prefer the lower skill hints but actually having her available on turn 1, I'm not buying Iron Will anyway and the extra hints only save like 15SP on Hesitant End Closers, which not every build wants.
