Sometimes even R cards are better than SSR if the skills and attributes matches.
If your uma is going to be trained as a Medium distance Pace uma, then you need a lot of speed and a bit of stamina, like 3 speed, 1 stamina and 2 wit.
Now within those restrictions, look for support cards that have compatible skills with your uma, even if you have to dig for R support cards.

I usually run the SSR speed one you have plus the swimsuit horse in the middle with the Super Creek SSR you have. I don't have very many SSR or even SR cards atm. Usually I run 3 speed, 1 wit, and the last two are flex slots for either stam or power depending on the horse.
I first look to borrow or use a horse that makes all of my relevant distances A rank and the rest into speed sparks.
The actual training, I've been focusing on leveling bond for the first year or so and then aiming for rainbow training. If in the late game there's no rainbow, I'll run wit.
