Anyway, no. Outsourcing Pokémon more often wouldn't be a bad idea, but going to fucking HoYo for that is ridiculous. The point on From making The Legend of Zelda is just pure schizo tier. An adaptation of Zelda from them would be massive, but the way he's talking about it is that it should just replace the main games made by Nintendo.

Game Freak primarily needs to hire better people in regards to making 3D worlds, on top of just more people period. That has been one of the main overarching issues of the Switch generation for them.

Due to how the ownership of the Pokemon franchise is setup, they literally can't. Game Freak has exclusive game rights and would have to agree to any proposed out sourcing by Nintendo.

First of all why would Hoyoverse even take that deal? They don’t need Pokémon they already get outrageous profit and they don’t have to pay any licensing fees because it’s their own product.
