In the world of Wanted, which is a DC parallel universe with the serial numbers filed off, the supervillains got together and won, and took over, becoming the secret cabal ruling the world known as The Brotherhood. They also tweaked things with some kind of super device that made most people forget superpowers were real.

The MC's dad was The Killer, a supervillain who had no superpowers, but was just hyper talented at ending lives. And the MC inherited that talent, and when his dad dies, his position in The Brotherhood, which results in him getting pulled out of his shitty office job life and trained up by The Fox.
