The multi-armed demigod, radiating incandescent fury, screamed an inarticulate challenge – now manifesting six enormous, glowing appendages – hammering against Omni-Man’s chest.

"Strong." Nolan mused as Asura's barrage continued, each blow capable of shattering lesser moons. He allowed Asura to land a few more hits, feeling nothing more than a persistent thrum. "But you mistake rage for power, and scale for magnitude."

Asura roared. "I have fought gods! I defeated a being who held galaxies in his grasp!"

Nolan caught Asura's fist, stopping the demigod. The force rippled through Asura's arm. Nolan's grip was inescapable. "You mean Chakravartin," he said. "A powerful being, for his own limited domain. Those 'galaxies' around his statue? A visual motif, nothing more. An illusion for lesser beings like yourself."

Asura struggled, a primal scream tearing from his throat. "Lies! He threw moon larger than any galaxy at me!"

Nolan twisted his wrist, yanking Asura off balance. "You just proved my point. A moon, even one of improbable size, pales in comparison to an actual galaxy. Those 'galaxies' were not galaxies at all, but rather small, decorative energy constructs, visual shorthand for power that never truly existed. Your intellect simply isn't equipped to grasp the distinction."

Omni-Man delivered a precise, unexaggerated punch to Asura's gut, not with his full power, but enough to send a wave of pain through the demigod.

Asura let out a broken cry of defiance. Nolan met him with an utterly unhurried ease. He allowed Asura one final, furious blow to his jaw, absorbing it without a tremor. Then, with a flick of his wrist, he grabbed Asura's primary arm. In one swift, brutal motion, Nolan spun, accelerating to speeds that blurred the very stars, and then, with the full, unfathomable might of a true universal being, he hurled Asura. Not at a planet, not at a sun, but into the deep, empty void of space, far beyond any discernible star system.
