The agricultural sector in russia gets basically fucked from every direction, you'd think that, with troubles exporting, the prices inside will fall but it still got so bad they vacuumed most of potatoes from belarus
On top of troubles getting equipment or seed material they now have massive issues getting quality people, when before they could sustain on the scraps left by the extraction industry now even those get scooped up by the military
And to make matters more funny it looks like even God himself decided to hit them with a spring frosts / summer droughts combo
