hmm, maybe try one or two more times once you recover. make sure to ease in, leave it on for 2-4 minutes based on your earlier experience with glycolic acid and then add one more minute every next use. you could also try applying a product that will neutralize acid/low ph on your skin after washing it off.
if that wont work, perhaps glycolic acid is not the best for you and maybe try other AHA eg mandelic or even milder - lactic. not sure whats their anti-aging potential though

i think dr dray or doctorly had a video about overpriced products and iirc expensive moisturizers dont really provide any major advantages over cheap ones. there might be some more actives but it would be better to put your money into something else
