Most christians will sell you the fear of death and sin and urge you to make good with god and join their special club in exactly the same way (croney nonsense that makes a mockery of the man they worship) but only catholics seem to think their religion is a cut above that they start claiming every other religion is secretly also catholic. except for that one religion that is actually unironically the most like christianity, buddhism. that one doesn't count.
