Back when Fujimoto was sane he wrote coherently. Part 2 is barely cannon at this point:

>Part 1 story had no impact on the plot or development of anything in Part 2
>No direction in plot at all, just Big Lebowski
>No theme
>No main characters, just side characters

It feels like a different manga, like they told him to just reuse the same world since it was already popular.

All of you debating how the volume could have slid 25,000 copies sold instead of 30,000. Nothing will stop the slide. The sales follow a perfect normal distribution which could only be explained, not by progressively worse quality, but by people progressively losing hope that their favourite characters from Part 1 will ever come back.
