And don't get me started on the hamlet. Every building has it's benefits and risks. All expect for fucking Stage Coach. Not only is it by far strongest building because it gives you new heroes but also it's the cheapest one to upgrade. And you can both dismiss and hire new heros for free. On the other hand in order to upgrade the weapons in balcksmith you need shitload of money and heirlooms. In tavern you can decreas the stress, but you may lose your items, cash or risk getting negative quirk while doing so. Even if you fart in this stupid game you get +10 stress. So why it that the most important facility in this game, Stage Coach is completely absolved of any costs and repercussions?
That's right: Because this is the devs' intended way to beat the game, and you are not allowed to diverge from it. They didn't know how to balance their own game so they decided to backtrack on their own design for the sake of convenience.
That's why there is never any reason to start your camping by upgrading anything other then Stage Coach.
It totally neglects the "risk vs reward" design of the game by spoonfeeding you the most important asset for free.

The game is so ridculessly bloated and needlessly slow that even with x3 speed mod it doesn't feel fast enough. It's like someone made 20 hour game and then artificially stretched it to +80 hours. It's dogshit. But all the reviews ever is
>but it's teh hard
Entirety of that so called "difficulty" can be trivialized by one glance into the wiki because it based on foreknowlage and not the actual skill.
What's even funniner is that almost none of the reviews on steam have even finished the game, further proving my point of how sloggy the game is.

If the binding of Isaac is rogue game with repulsive aesthetic but carried by gameplay depth, then DD is game with 0 gameplay depth carried only by it's aesthetic.
>But DD2 is wors...
Nobody fucking cares. Two wrongs don't don't make one right.
