And BTW2: if you want ACTUAL protection, you really don't need to reinvent the wheel. Just do what jails do have been doing for a century: sturdy round steel stock bars with perforated reinforced horizontal bars, full frame attachment (and deep) and a sliding mechanism for opening and closing. You can also treat it with an anti-grinding epoxy treatment if you want to make it angle grinder proof

Problem is: you're basically turning your own house into a jail.
