Since beauty and youth are tied together, when feminists "fix" character designs, they literally look older. The Concord characters for example all look 37 or older. People don't want geezer characters, they want somewhat idealized characters.

People can't always articulate this, but they feel something is off about these characters that are supposed to be 22 looking like they're pushing 40.
