I manually save as .jpg in either irfanview or paint.net, with no chroma subsampling and 95 quality
but irfanview has a batch conversion if you'd like as well

I use paint.net/irfranview for saving jpgs
there was an issue I noticed with muh dunmer eyes; specifically the color red
with anything less than 4:4:4 chroma sampling it looked a bit cloudy rather than sharp so I started saving them like that
moreover I noticed no difference between 95-100 jpg quality but it saved a lot of file size
later on, with irfranview, an anon told me if you show format dialogue options when saving, you can check 'disable chroma subsampling' for the same effect as 4:4:4 in paint.net(supposedly... I haven't bothered to test it yet desu)
