>Honestly, this made for TV movie was a stealth pilot for an updated (for the 90's) Knight Rider series, as it ends with KITT in a 'future car' body and he has a new female partner that replaces Michael. It was never picked up.
Knight Rider 2000 ends with KITT in the KIFT (Knight Rider Four Thousand; based on a Pontiac Banshee concept car) body, with Michael being sidelined for the woman in image related who has KITT's missing memory chip in her head. The bald guy Maddox replaces Devon. This would have been the premise for a second Knight Rider series. With Michael Knight making guest appearances. The Knight Rider 2000 TV movie was not received well.
