Taking care of a house is basically a full-time job and even if you have 2 people doing it, it causes so much stress in your life.
I can lay awake thinking about stuff like my roof, thinking about how old it is, googling what is the average lifespan of my type of roof, am I sure what type of roof I have? How can I safely walk on my roof without damaging it to check for any damage? What kind of damages does my insurance cover?
I hate owning a house, it's too much stuff and too big. But I also don't want to live in a suicide box (apartment) where I have little control over my "home".
I think I want to live in a simple small cabin in the woods with internet and a wood stove.
