All of the wars the US has been engineering in the Middle East have been at the behest of Israel.
It's been every single country the neocons wrote about targeting all the way back in 1998. Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran....it's been following the playbook to a T.
It's just that, because the Iraq war was so unpopular, they had to switch tactics to funding proxy armies. But they've literally been doing it, like clockwork. Now they're onto Iran.
That doesn't sound defensive to me, that sounds like they've toppled every single neighbor they have.
