Don't worry too much about it, all you'd be contributing to is a really tiny amount of resources anyways. The important rewards are all individual.

Note that the actual guild-based rewards are... Pretty crap. You can get most of what you need from Companios by just making a solo one for yourself, this is all you're really missing out on (and the possibility to borrow a whale's unit I guess)
