I wonder if this is Les Edwards. His signature isn't visible in the picture I posted, but I know he did a lot of work for GW, including the cover art for some of the other GW/MB boxed games.

If it is Edwards, that's almost an unfair comparison. His masterpieces predate the Dark Age of Technology, so you know he accomplished all of this without any digital tools or techniques; it's all traditional.
