My mom got in an accident with an Uber driver that did an illegal left turn. Very minor injuries but it caused her a bad migraine,

The insurance for Uber is covering everything but also offered her $1.5k for personal injuries but implied she could ask for more. I told her to wait to respond and not take it yet.

Is this something I can try just having her haggle for on the payout or is it worth getting legal council?
