Loki by far has had the worst life and saddest back story out of anyone else. You can't prove me wrong.

Loki is fantastic, and him joining the SHs would be undoubtedly awesome, but he's just way too big (though I commend the thought put into how it could work) and way too strong (obviously stronger than Zoro) for it to work. I think that Luffy inviting Loki speaks more to Luffy's unlimited mindset, and narratively I see it as a way to build rapport to convert Loki to an ally - Luffy inviting him signifies that he believes in him, something that IIRC nobody has done for Loki's whole life. The direction I see Loki's story going is that he saves Elbaf alongside Luffy, is redeemed in the eyes of his folk, and assumes the throne as a Luffy supporter which gives Elbaf to the SHs.
