This is false though, lupa breaks with her team before she meets rover (it's a constant). Without rover she just goes solo, but has no evidence of julia's cheating (because the spear manipulation didn't happen so Iuno attention wasn't caught) so she wins the agon but couldn't do anything about her personal issues, becoming alone and vulnerable to the influence of the story.
